To engage and uplift young people from Baltimore and beyond, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to become leaders in their communities and architects of their destinies.

Our PROGRAMS
The Greater Baltimore Urban League movement carries out its mission through direct services, advocacy, research, policy analysis, community mobilization, collaboration and communications.
Leadership Development: Workshops, seminars, and mentorship opportunities aimed at cultivating leadership skills, critical thinking, and a sense of social responsibility among the youth.
Educational Enhancement: Programs focused on academic achievement, including tutoring, college prep, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) initiatives, and scholarship opportunities.
Career Exploration: Initiatives designed to expose young people to various career paths, including internships, job shadowing, and guest speaker events with professionals from diverse industries.
Civic Engagement: Encouraging active participation in the community through volunteerism, voter education, and advocacy training, fostering a generation that is informed, engaged, and ready to lead.
Health and Wellness: Activities and workshops aimed at promoting physical and mental health, emphasizing the importance of a balanced lifestyle for long-term success.
